During our attendance at a Care Event in Liverpool, the Romila team built great connections with many care home managers and staff . It was excellent to hear Care Home Managers recognise the benefits of providing meaningful regular exercise sessions for their Elderly Residents.
One of the highlights was chatting to Phil Bartley- CQC Inspection Manager for the Liverpool North Region. Phil highlighted the importance of providing all Elderly Residents with regular exercises and Physical Activity . Phil strongly believes that Programmes such as Romila, are highly beneficial for maintaining overall wellbeing of our elderly. Phil also noted, that from experience, many great care homes are keen to provide regular stimulating activities, in order to keep their Residents Active physically and mentally !
Helena Dennett, Head of Inspection (CQC) ,was also giving a presentation at the event . It was great to witness Helena highlight the importance of regular Exercise and Physical Activity For all Older adults during her Presentation.
We must all remember, that exercise is important for everybody- regardless of age . However, as we get older, Regular Exercise conducted in a safe and effective manner is vital for our ageing population.
